Speciescentricism is a dysfunctional attitude on the part of human beings. All species are equally important in the life of the local/ global ecosystems. And the ecosystem is a jealous God. The effect of humanity on the local /global ecosystem is proof of that. If we don’t change our attitude and actions to realizing we are just stewards of the ecosystems not more important than any other part we will not survive as a species for very much longer. Yet the ecosystem will go on without us.
