No, it is better to improve or defend your country than to attempt to transform the world. Perhaps, when your nation is great and secure as it is reasonable to expect it to be, it would be time to think globally.
Do not concern yourself o’ermuch with the state of another’s place until such time as you’ve put your own house into proper order. To do otherwise is both to dilute one’s efforts with little positive result and to fall willing victim to hubris and hypocrisy.
